ElevenLabs, a Singapore-based AI voice technology firm valued at US$22 billion, opened its regional headquarters in Singapore on 8 October 2025. The company began hosting its core AI models on Singapore-based infrastructure three months earlier to serve regional customers, including Atome Financial and Malaysian digital bank Boost Bank. The firm currently has 25 remote employees and plans to hire aggressively across engineering, marketing and go-to-market roles, with the Singapore team potentially growing to 100 employees within the next few years.
The expansion focuses on developing voice technology for South-east Asian languages and dialects. ElevenLabs' latest v4 model processes over 90 languages including Malay, Tamil and Mandarin, with plans to train models in Singlish. The company will deploy forward-deployed engineers to help local clients build their own voice agents.
